NEW VIDEO;FIZZY MAYUR 'LAHDEHIN'
This is the video for the street anthem by Fizzy Mayur that has just been released and it is a good video with a nice concept.
Hammed Mayowa Fisayo fondly known as Fizzy Mayur is one of Nigeria’s fast rising rap artist whose inspiration is drawn from the brutal realism of Fela Anikulapo-Kuti and surreal smoothness of Sade Adu. His fluid rap style contains street vocabulary laced with mind-boggling savvy that never cease to cause amazement. After dropping two singles in 2011; which ended up as mere underground hits while his skills did not go unnoticed, he went ahead to join forces with notable producers establishing cordial relationship as an ardent team player.
The result of the liaison happens to be the birth of two long-awaited singles which are now experiencing massive download on the internet. Precise decision was made by his record label; Eclipse records and management team, Photon Entertainment solutions to take Fizzy Mayur’s game to the next level with a video shoot for his much-talked about single titled “LAHDEHIN.” The new video is directed by Akinsola Muse of 1705 productions, a graduate of motion picture institute of Michigan, USA. The video was shot in the city of lagos
As a visual masterpiece designed to spice up the music industry, Fizzy Mayur’s new video release for the song titled “LAHDEHIN” will raise the bar and change the face of rap music video in Nigeria.

UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE; Who's your money on?
I won't lie, the champions league anthem before games gets me pumped up, even if I'm seeing the game as a neutral, so its with anxiety and great anticipation that I look forward to the commencement of hostilities on 18 september 2012. I'm certain that every football loving person across the globe is also very excited like me. Who do you think will be lifting that trophy at Wembley in May 2013?
TRADITIONAL CONTENDERS
I know what comes to mind now, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Chelsea FC, Manchester United. These are teams that are perceived to have what it takes to win the trophy, for obvious reasons, but I have a reason to believe Manchester United and Chelsea are outsiders in this category. Yes, Chelsea are champions, but one needs to look back at the way they won the trophy in May, to see that their victory was probably ordained by God. For me, I don't think they will be able to defend the trophy successfully. Manchester United on the other hand, is Manchester United. They struggled in Europe last season, and the jury is out on them and Chelsea FC for this one. Let's see how they do.
As for Barcelona, well they have Lionel Messi and are "the best team in the world", so you'd expect them to get to the latter stages. Real Madrid haven't started the season quite well, but then the Champions League is a different competition and I'll expect them to go all guns blazing.
OUTSIDERS
One thing I've come to love about this competition is the possibility of an upset, and teams that are capable of pulling off an upset are in this category. Here, you'd find Manchester City yes, Manchester City, Arsenal, Juventus. Manchester City would have been one of my favourites to win this year, but I don't believe Mancini can lead his team to victory, besides their lack of pedigree has already seen them in the "Group of Death", meaning they have a tough start to this year's competition. As for Arsenal, they've started the season well, by their recent standards and although its certain they'll make the knockout stages, it'll be a miracle if they make it to the semis, but there's quiet optimism among the gooner faithful that this could be their year.
That's it folks, I'm going to be glued to my tv set wherever I may be, at whatever time during the season, and I'll be cheering my team(won't let you know which team though), and I know you all will be doing the same. But then, Who's your money on?

INSPIRING 'SINKS'
Yup, you read right;sinks! I came across a website recently (www.home-designing.com) that featured a lot of creative designs of sinks and the word that kept coming out of my small mouth (hehehe) as i went through some of the designs was 'WOW'!
What struck me about these sinks weren't just the weird and creative designs but the fact that they were created by people who thought outside the box and were not confined to think of a sink as just a 'bowl and faucet' to wash. These sinks have since become a symbol of creativity to me.
Thinking outside the box should come easily to us, if we would sit down for a minute and not subject ourselves to the society stereotyped thinking of 'this is how it should be done'.In any line of work you do, whether it involves 'Art' or not, just try to put your brain to work and think of 'sinks'(really inspirational yea?LOL).For instance, imagine if Run DMC and Aerosmith hadn't thought outside the box to create a musical blend that would later change hip hop (and music generally)for the better with their 90's hit 'walk this way'.Music would have probably still had barriers and remained stereotyped as to what 'type' of people could listen to a particular style of music.
Aha the sinks! (sorry for the digression).I will share some of the awesome sinks with you so as to 'ginger' you guys* i hope*. Enjoy :D
